How Our Pious Predecessors Spent Ramadan

I know I just posted about Ramadan a few minutes ago, but then I found this awesome article by Shaikh Salman al-Oadah on the website he supervises - IslamToday.com. This article concentrates on how the Prophet Muhammad , his companions and the earliest generations of Muslims spent this precious time of Ramadan in their lives. The Shaikh has picked out four righteous acts, which can indeed draw us nearer to our creator Allah Ta'ala, especially in this blessed month: Reading the Qur'an, standing for the prayer in the middle of the night, giving generously in charity and safeguarding the tongue.

Sorry, it just felt wrong to me to post about the saintly elders of the latest centuries and leaving out the first Momineen and walliAllahs the surface of this earth has ever seen. That's why I couldn't go to sleep without posting this article that I just found.
